Niche marketing is becoming the best form or type of marketing both online and offline. To get started in Niche marketing, the basics has to be learnt. To start with, one will definitely want to know what Niche Marketing is. So this brings us to the first basic of Niche Marketing.
WHAT IS NICHE MARKETING?
Niche Marketing can refer to both marketing and business choice. It refers to finding a segment of the general market for a service product line. When it is found, one then develops a solution for the needs of that segment and then markets it.
Another good definition of Niche Marketing is that it is a portion of of a marketing that you have identified as having some special characteristics and that it is worth marketing to.
Finally, according to Wikipedia, Niche Marketing is the subset of the market on which a specific product is focusing on: Therefore the market niche defines the specific product features aimed at satisfying specific market needs, as well as the price range, product quality and the demographics that is intended to impact.
Another basic thing in Niche marketing is finding a niche and meeting the demands in that niche. There are so many things involved in establishing a niche. It takes several steps which i outlined in one of my articles.
The basics of Niche Marketing is to make sure that your niche is on target at every moment and modified as at when the trend changes.
To know if your Niche is still on target, you have to ask yourself the following questions and ask it again after 4 months.
1. Who are my target clients?
2. Who are not my target clients?
3. WHAT DO CLIENTS THINK I STAND FOR?
4. Is my Niche in constant state or evolution?
5. Does my niche offer what prospective customers want?
6. Do i have a plan and delivery system that effectively convey the need for my niche to the right market?
7. Can i confidently predict the life cycle of my niche?
8. Do i have a sense of passion and focused energy with respect to my niche?
When you have the right answers for the above questions, you have a hot niche that is in demand and will be in demand if you constantly improve.
