First off, I want you to bookmark this page. This article will be ongoing & article updates will be constant as I uncover new marketing techniques to replace Craigslist. Before long you won’t miss Craigslist at all. I call it life after Craigslist. You will also find out that Craigslist is not the biggest or the best free marketing tool online.
If you are reading this then you are probably affected by the new Craigslist Phone Verification System upgrade. I was using a loophole in the Craigslist Phone Verification System up until September 15, 2009 to post my ads every day, and made decent cash from it. I was making 2k a week or more from Craigslist until they clamped down.
Craigslist is a big marketing tool, but by no means the best. Out of all the tools in my marketing arsenal, Craigslist is a mini assault rifle. I have a couple of marketing missiles that make more cash in one day than Craigslist can make me in a month. I am not marketing at all on Craigslist as I write this article. Craig can stick his list where the sun don’t shine, as far as I’m concerned.
I have other marketing tools that make way more money. I also studied and took a couple of quick cheap article marketing courses and that totally changed my outlook on my earning potential. I realized that Craigslist was stunting my financial growth because it took a while to place my ads every day using the dreaded dial-up method.
It did hurt me a little to lose 10% of a weeks income, but I quickly made up for the loss. I made up the Craigslist loss in less than 8 days and am now making more money that I was using Craigslist. I made up that week I lost when Craigslist changed their phone verification system and am now 6% ahead of my usual income for the month of September. I didn’t even miss a beat or a buck.
The last time Craigslist.org got tough was last year in 2008. Craigslist.org sued all the US and Canadian companies that were making Craigslist auto posting software and producing Craigslist Phone Verified Accounts for resale. 99% went out of business including CL AUTO POSTER Software company. The company also went by Craigslist Auto-Poster Software company.
With all my luck, I actually had a Craigslist Phone Verification Account order placed with a company in Florida in 2008. They were shut down by Craigslist.org with a court order the day after I sent them $160 for 40 Craigslist Phone Verified Accounts. They kept my money and never emailed me again or attempted to make a refund.
I think most of us deep inside knew that this clampdown would happen one day soon. I started planning for this Craigslist clampdown a few months back. It did not affect me at all because I discovered better ways to make money selling my products. I actually make way more now than I was making using Craiglist alone.
Using a combination of the right marketing techniques and software can really make your sales through the roof.
I have an arsenal of tools in my marketing war chest and Craiglist was a good one, but not my best one. I have at least 10 other marketing tricks and tools that produce more income for me than Craigslist. This time I was one step ahead of Craigslist.org’s new crackdown.
When I market online, I think like a General in the US Armed Forces. I come up with a strategy to defeat and destroy and develop it to it’s fullest potential. I study all the angles, and come up with a list of things that I need. I then get the weapons and the weapons training to use them. I need to fully conquer and defeat my competition. Well at least some of them. That is my approach. I look at the big picture. When a General goes into war he has the infantry, the tank division, guided missiles and other weapons they will need to win the war. An internet marketer has to think the same way.
If Craigslist was your sole source of income then i feel very badly for you. This must be hurting you badly. I am writing this article specifically for the people who were operating solely on Craigslist. You folks need to act fast and I hope to be of some assistance.
After a couple of weeks of training in Article Marketing. Which by the way cost me a $1. I had the listings on the first page of Google for the exact same product search.
There are only 10 organic search ads per Google search results page and I know how to get 2 to 4 of those slots. This is the best marketing technique I have ever learned. It took me about an hour to understand how it worked but then realized how darn simple it was. Through an adwords ad into the mix and you can get even more spots on the first Google search results page.
Because this Craigslist Change has affected sellers and marketers worldwide I have decided to share with you some of the tools in my marketing war chest.

If you’ve spent even a single minute looking online on how to make money on the internet, you may have heard of “article marketing”. Every guru worth his salt impounds on the benefits and cost-effectiveness of article marketing, and how easy it can be to pull in some serious cash through articles.
Article marketng in a nutshell involves submitting your articles to high quality article directories, which allow you to input 2 to 3 links back to your website. You gain traffic when surfers come across your article on the internet and click on the links going back to your website. Therefore, articles provide you with not only traffic, but also backlinks.
Backlinks are the economy of the web. Search engines find, and rank your website on the basis of the number, and quality of backlinks your site has. When site A links to site B, it is called a “backlink”. Of course, not all backlinks carry the same weight. A backlink from a reputable website carries far more weight in the search engines than that from a non-reputable website. The more backlinks high quality backlinks you have, the higher you will be ranked.
Article marketng is a great way to start off your internet marketing efforts because, as mentioned before, it provides you with traffic as well as backlinks. The high quality article directories are seen as reputable websites by the search engines, and therefore, any article (with backlinks to your site), appearing on the site get categorized as “good content” and you gain some weightage in the search engine.

There is an immeasurable amount of information available online, on nearly every topic imaginable. So it is easy to see how new, quality information can fall through the cracks, and never see the light of day. So how is a web site owner supposed to stand out in the crowd? It can be difficult to make a single voice stand out in this unprecedented crowd, but with a little hard work and some elbow grease, any website can make itself known.
The easiest, but also least reliable income, is to become a freelance promoter. Freelancers have no contract or set employment. They work, and are paid, on an as-completed or weekly basis. This can be good for a side job, or a secondary income. Primarily, though, freelancing is seen as unreliable, since either party can walk away from the table at any time with no repercussions. Now, there are websites dedicated to making the match up and relationships easier for freelancers and their clients. Sites like Elance will match up writers with their clients, and will handle all of the cash transactions, so that nobody gets taken advantage of. Freelancing is a good option for people who have the time, and who (ideally) have a second income, or who are willing to work very hard for their money. Starving Freelance Writers are always looking for a website or product to write about, so they are usually a good choice.
Another, more common way of marketing a web site is through affiliate programs. Basically, someone else markets a product for the producer. This can happen with just plain old ad space, or article marketing. Basically, the affiliate places ads on their website, and vice versa, and both affiliates share a cut of their profits. With article marketing, things get a little less “conventional”. The producer pays their advertisers to write articles and testimonials about their product. The advertiser writes any number of articles, and then posts them in relevant places on the internet. Assuming the job was done correctly, the articles will show up first, or close to the top, on a Google search, thereby driving traffic to the producer’s website. The producer can see where this traffic is coming from; if it is from the article advertisements, the writer gets commission on each sale made. If the writer is skilled, a well-written article can really drive a site’s traffic up.
The last, most basic form of online marketing is Ads. Banner ads, pop-up ads, text ads, video ads, e-mail ads, and the list goes on. The most popular form of advertisement for an up-and-coming web site is Google’s AdSense. These are short, text-based advertisements, placed along the right side of any relevant Google search (That is, any search that shares similar keywords to those in your ad). If placed well, Google ads can reach an unprecedented large audience, and can definitely be one of the most successful ways of marketing a website.
Ultimately, the decision between traditional ads, Google ads, affiliate marketing, and article marketing is a deeply personal one, and depends on the needs of each individual site. Usually the answer is a mix of all options, to make the most possible sales.

Follow appropriate keyword density. To avoid keyword spamming, search engines dictate that you can only put a certain number of keywords on your articles. How much exactly? It’s 1.5%-2% of your total word count of your articles.
Consistency Is KING!
Be consistent in how you market with articles. As is the case with many things online, it is easy to get enthused about something, but then stop doing it when it becomes more like work.
The key to having a successful article marketing campaign is to constantly have articles in the marketplace working on your behalf. With the exception of a pay per click advertising campaign, very few Internet marketing advertising generates immediate results. The key with article marketing is that you continue to do it on a consistent basis and are patient. With this type of an attitude you will see results over the long haul. You cannot do this by writing five articles one week and then taking two weeks off before you write your next one.
Don’t Make The Same Mistake Twice
Learn from your mistakes and improve. Although you do not have to write articles that win a Pulitzer prize, you do want to write articles that are informative, and contain good grammar and proper spelling. Manually submitting one article a time can be okay if you are getting them into the right directories, but if your goal is to drive traffic to your website from an article you want to be in as many directories as you possibly can. Over time, you will become a better writer, if you take the time to see what mistakes you have made in the past.
