I&#8217;ve talked to a lot of people (who are dental patients), who, after I explained what I do for a living, gave me all their questions about dental procedures, and they&#8217;ve been wanting to go to their dentist for such procedures. But they haven&#8217;t. What could be their reasons for not accepting such dental treatments offered in dental practices? One is that they would really like to go and give their dentist money for the procedure, but it&#8217;s still not that urgent for them. Or it could be that they just keep forgetting! In the niche of dental practices, you should be able to come up with some techniques on how to get more case acceptance from your dental patients.</p>
<p>First Step: Remind Them Constantly</p>
<p>In dental practices, you need to follow up your patients with multiple mailings, postcards, etc., to constantly remind them. Contact your past patients, tell them that you have a new service, and you would like their help in previewing it. Or, that you want to get together for their 6 month recall. You should start this immediately! This will cost only a little, and what is important is that this will be helpful for your practice. You will start getting people calling for their recall, which will reactivate them and get them in so you can help them with any other inquiries and concerns that they may have.</p>
<p>Second Step: Describe What You Do In Terms Of What You Do</p>
<p>The important thing that you should always remember is that you must stop describing what you do, in terms of what you sell! ( Just like saying, “Well, I&#8217;m a dentist who does cosmetic work&#8230; or I have my own dental practice&#8230;”).Rather, you must start describing what you do, in terms of what you do! Say something like, “ I help people have a healthier, whiter, more beautiful smile.”, or, &#8221; I assist people in getting cleaner, healthier teeth while they experience pain-free dentistry.” Saying these will be very helpful for you. The big challenge is really from your end, on how you think about yourself. You have to totally re-frame how you think of what you do! The important thing here in dental practices is that people don&#8217;t care about what you do; they want to know about the emotional benefits that it will give them. And that&#8217;s always the fact!</p>

Should I go for dental practice Internet (or online) marketing, or dental practice offline marketing?” I answer them with &#8220;both and/or neither&#8221;. It&#8217;s your choice to either go for the Internet or go offline on your dental practice marketing. Both kinds of dental practice marketing strategies, whether going for the Internet or offline, have their own advantages. </p>
<p>Dental Practice Internet Marketing :</p>
<p>My prediction for the next three years is that there would be a big possibility that the patients would go for dental practice Internet marketing, where these patients will try to reach their dentists online. We can estimate that to around 80% of the dental patients&#8217; population. If you throw a question to a hundred people, asking them where they would get their directions, research information and choose new service provider, roughly around eighty to ninety of them would say I just had to “google it”. The Internet would spare them the time going from one location to another. For example, if a person would like to see the latest version of a PC system, wouldn&#8217;t it be much easier for him to just go and check it out in the Internet in the comfort of his own home, rather than go to his local shop a few miles away? This would save him time and energy in the process. And like in the field of dental practice Internet marketing, it&#8217;s much easier for patients to reach their respective dentists online. Reaching their dentist is simply just within the click of a button!</p>
<p>Dental Practice Offline Marketing :</p>
<p>Like dental practice Internet marketing, offline dental marketing has its advantages as well. The traditional way of reaching people still works for dental marketing. For me, I go for the concept of free standing inserts, which is one of the best, most affordable and also cost- effective ways to do external dental marketing. You can target ideal and potential patients, niche or target out your insert, or give an attractive offer to them straight to your office. Going for direct mailing would be a good thing as well. You see, people will always have there mail boxes available, where they would await for any mail to come to their residences, and this will never go away. They will always have their respective mail boxes and read their personal mails.</p>
<p>With these advantages of both the dental practice Internet marketing and dental practice offline marketing, it&#8217;s still a matter of personal choice. Go online or go offline in the business. But always remember that it would always differ depending on the area where you live, the advertising rates, and the responsiveness of the area. If you want to find out which one of these strategies would be better, you can “test” it. Dental practice marketing involves testing, and lots of it. But in my opinion, it&#8217;s still the best way that you can reach your goals of increasing your income rates. The choice is yours in your business!</p>

Should I go for dental marketing online, or dental marketing offline?” My answer to this question is both and/or neither. It would be your choice if you go for either online or offline dental marketing. These dental marketing strategies have their own advantages. Be it online or offline dental marketing, you have the choice. In this article I would discuss to you the benefits of such dental marketing strategies.</p>
<p>Dental Marketing Online :</p>
<p>The way I see it for the next three years, the big possibility is that dental patients would go for dental marketing online, where they will get in touch with their dentists through the Internet. Let&#8217;s estimate that to around 80% of the patients reaching and finding their dentists through the World Wide Web. Think about this. If you throw a question to around 100 people, asking them where they would get their directions, research information and choose new service provider, roughly around 80 to 90 of them would say &#8220;I just had to google it&#8221;. Why? Going online would spare them the time going from one location to another. Let&#8217;s say, for example, if a person would like to see the latest version of a certain cellphone. Wouldn&#8217;t it be much easier for him to just go and check it out in the Internet in the comfort of his own home, rather than go to his local shop a few miles away? This would save him time and energy. This is just like dental marketing online. It would be much easier for dental patients to reach their respective dentists on the Internet. This would save them the time and energy that they would need to go from their home to their dentist&#8217;s office. It just takes a click of a button to reach their dentist!</p>

<p>As it is with dental marketing online, dental marketing offline has its advantages as well. The traditional way of reaching people still works for dental marketing. As for my case, I love to go for free standing inserts. It is one of the best, most affordable, cost effective ways to do external dental marketing. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My goals for the transition of my dental practice is to get new patients to come into my practice and achieve success in my business. I always remember what Ed told me: “You need to identify what it is that&#8217;s working for you in the transition of your dental practice&#8230; ”. So thinking about it, I made unique things that can help me achieve my goals in my business. And this is something that Ed focus specifically at their dental practice transition website!</p>
<p>And so I did “unique” kinds of things for the transition of my dental practice. First is for the Invisalign Open House. The thing that I did that was unique was leveraging it by doing 4 of them in the last 4 months. And what we did is for every ad we placed the two dates. With this, we set our dates and this is something you can do to implement things really quickly! We basically set our date way too close to when these actually went, knowing that people will kind of miss the date; but then they will be forced to call on when the next one is, because it&#8217;s the second to be announced! Next, I also made mini “Dental Miracles” advertisements. I started with a test of 10,000 of these ads for about $400.00. Now, I&#8217;m doing about 60,000 of these things going on about every month automatically without any extra work!</p>
<p>Then we also have what we call the “Demand Force Software”. This is something that Ed says that for the transition of your dental practice, what we should do is to always survey our patients. And this software that costs around $200.00 a month automatically links to Dentrix totally with no work required; and what it does is that we use it to do e-mail blast, marketing, confirms appointments automatically; it&#8217;s got a million things, it gives you the stat on everything. And it just allows me to track a lot of the online marketing schemes that we do (and it&#8217;s so very well-integrated).</p>
<p>For the transition of my dental practice, I also go for newsletters. In doing our newsletters, I always keep in mind that as you increase your marketing, your referral ratio tends to go down. So with our newsletters, I made sure that they bump up and keep my referral ratio high. As for the present, I&#8217;m maintaining 54% for the referral ratio in my dental practice. Now, I&#8217;m putting this in things like this: it&#8217;s like an extra bonus to people as they get a hundred bucks cash if they win the contest.</p>
<p>So, for the transition of my dental practice, I use “total census solutions” and that&#8217;s how really I&#8217;m going to skyrocket through the summer, by doing bigger cases like dental implants, and niche marketing and I&#8217;ve got all those things in the works now to really convert. So I always go for unique ways to go with my business&#8230; because for me it works effectively and more efficiently!</p>

So, if you have 100 people coming in to your website, conversion gave you 1 patient, you got 1 case, you get $20,000. Wouldn&#8217;t it be worth improving your conversion? And wouldn&#8217;t it be worth improving your traffic? Of course it is! So now, online, if you have an opportunity to make $20,000 per case, and if you increase your conversion by 1 or 2 percent, which is easy, then you&#8217;ll be making a lot more money! And this is where the component &#8220;cash&#8221; comes in.
